It’s a bird, it’s a plane, it’s….
…flying Andrew! Bouncing your kid on your knees in the air is all fun and games (and a good ab workout) until a giant string of drool hits you in the eye.

Over it
Bring on the spring, flowers and warmer weather….I’ll even take the weeds! Poor Andy has to take on our (what I’m come to appreciate is massive) driveway. At least he has his John Deere to keep him company.
PS- you’ll notice this pic was taken from inside our warm, dry house. Someone has to stay with the baby after all.

New toy
We put together Andrews ‘rainforest jumparoo’ this afternoon. He’s not sure what to make of it but he seems to like the lights and music (Andy and I are so pumped for another musical toy in the house….) He’s just a bit too short for it right now but given that he’s a Phillips, I’m sure he’ll grow into it in no time.

Playtime
Andrew enjoyed a little playtime with grandma and grandpa who are back from their trip to New Zealand and Australia. Happy to have them back on this side of the world!

Back in the Garden State
We made it back to New Jersey relatively unscathed. Andrew had another successful flight complete with a few naps, some playtime and 4 poopy diapers. It’s like he was messing with us. Each time we’d change his diaper he’d go again and we’d have to walk past everyone on the plane with our smelly kid. Little stinker.

The Office
Andrew is on his way to visit mommy and daddy’s offices on Thursday. What a trooper. This kid navigated 4 days in the city and 5 work dinners like a champ. He’s cute and flexible. We’ll keep him.

Mommy & son time in San Fran
This week Andy and I are tag team parenting while each other works. Monday and Tuesday I watch Andrew while Andy works. Wednesday and Thursday I work and Andy’s on duty. So today Andrew and I went for a long walk up and down the San Francisco hills. No need for the gym today. Pushing 15 lbs and a stroller up Nob Hill and back is enough for one day.

Family afternoon in San Francisco
Before Andy and I spend the week working, we tried to carve out a little family time with the few hours we had on Sunday. Andrew couldn’t take it all in fast enough. Such a curious little guy.
We rode the cable cars from our hotel down to the wharf. Andrew slept/fussed through it. Oh well.
And after a long flight we enjoyed a few Irish coffees at Buena Vista. One of my favorite places. Andrew was a perfect gentleman. Little guy knows how to handle himself at a bar.
