Life in the Time of Covid

The day in and day out of working full- time from home with a 3 and 5 year old thrust into the mix….

    Zooming with friends

    Endless dress-ups

    Art projects

    Watching Caterpillars turn into Butterflies

Watching our Teachers Read Stories via Zoom

    Science and Yoga!

    Endless Time Outside

Snacks… and learning how to pay for them!

    Rocking a Man-Bun

Learning (and failing at) how to wear a mask

And all of this managed (and sanity kept) by our schedule!

  • Florida…. Pre-Covid

    Florida…. Pre-Covid

I’ve been delinquent with our blog and attempting to get back to it!

Here is our last trip to Florida and plane ride for God only know how long. The pictures remind me of fun, warm and simpler times…..

    Corona Chronicles: Day 3

Or day 1 working from home…

We have a schedule…so there’s that. And endless internet suggestions, memes and links to keep us informed, help and laugh a bit.

So we have our own schedule and made s’mores. Life is better with s’mores!

  • Corona Chronicles: Day 2

    Corona Chronicles: Day 2

It started with a trip to the Great Swamp

And ended with bikes (and cocktails) with friends in the empty parking lot…. yes we stayed 6 feet apart!

And then there were s’mores! I just love Andrew’s joy and happiness that a little graham cracker and chocolate brings!

  • Corona Chronicles

    Corona Chronicles

We’re in the midst of a global pandemic of Covid 19 or Corona virus. Life is changed and we’re finding a new temporary (god I hope!) normal. Cataloguing an event our generation will always remember…

    Day 1: Social Distancing.

School is cancelled for the next two weeks and it’s highly recommended we stay home and stay at least 6 feet from others to help contain this virus.

So we went exploring in the park, mommy went for a run while pushing two snacking babes and then rode bikes at the empty pool parking lot. While away from friends and family, we’re outside and ‘enjoying’ this break from our normal hectic lives. Life could be worse.
