    Baptism

As if a birthday party wasn’t enough, we decided to round out the weekend with Andrew’s baptism. We are so happy to (finally!) get him christened. Aunt Kelly and Cousin Philip are now officially Andrew’s godmother and godfather!IMG_4472 IMG_4469 IMG_4467 IMG_1442

    1st Birthday Party!

I know, I know. I’ve been a little late on my posts recently. But better late than never! Here is a sampling of the great fun we had celebrating little man’s ‘bow tie’ themed first birthday party. Thank you so much for all our family and friends who came to join in the celebration!

    How Andrew spent his birthday

    He read his cards.

       He explored his new tent.

He went to the park and played with his best friend.

He had a birthday party at school and opened presents with mommy and daddy.

  • Happy 1st Birthday Andrew!

    Happy 1st Birthday Andrew!

It is utterly mind boggling that this little man is already 1 year old! 5 minutes ago we were bringing him home from the hospital on a frigidly cold day…and also stopping at Starbucks like any good new parent would. We’re so amazed and proud of the little person he’s becoming and it’s fascinating to explore the world through his eyes.

So what do we know about Andrew William at one year?!? He attends the Palmer School in Bernardville, NJ (which he is loving!) and his teachers are Miss Ana, Fawn and Amanda. His best buddies are Austin and JP at school. He wears 12-18 month clothes (mostly 18) and size 5 shoes. Official height/weight coming later this week from the doctor. Andrew goes to bed at 7-7:30 pm and sleeps through the night until 6:30-7am. It’s wonderful! His favorite foods are bananas, apple sauce, quinoa, broccoli/spinach bites, cheerios, milk, Puffs, cookies as well as any and all carbs! He’s crawling up a storm and loves to push his walker, wagon, boxes, anything around…quickly! He surfs the furniture and has just started to stand unassisted in the last few days. Walking here we come.

His favorite toy is still wheels. Train wheels, truck wheels, bike wheels, steering wheels, luggage wheels, etc. You name the wheel and I’m sure our kid will smile when he sees it. In the last month Andrew has also developed a small suite of ‘party tricks.’ He claps (especially when he thinks you’re excited), waves hi/bye (sporadically), sticks out his tongue and can high-5. He’s also started to repeat words when you say them to him. His latest new word is ‘car.’

Can’t imagine life without this little guy and look forward to officially celebrating on Saturday. Happy birthday Andrew! We love you!IMG_2902-0.jpg

    Playing with Peyton

We helped my cousin BJ move on Saturday which meant lots of playtime for Andrew with his 2nd cousins. He LOVED playing with the trains and was especially happy when Mikayla gave hime a train to take home.

  • Happy birthday Austin Jay!

    Happy birthday Austin Jay!

We celebrated Andrew’s best buddy Austin’s birthday yesterday. Austin is two days older than Andrew. The two have spent mommy n’ me yoga classes, countless walks and a many suburban family adventures together. So happy to have this family in our lives and can’t wait to see these continue to grow up together! ❤️

Not many pics from the day but here are a few from the ball pit. Andrew had no problem playing with other people’s toys!

    Ready for church!

Getting ready for his upcoming baptism in a few weeks.

He did as well as you’d expect an 11 month old to do in a quiet space. Admittedly we were a little happy when he passed out right in the middle of the service.
