Andrew is a bit more picky about his food these days. Much to my dismay he pretty much refuses fruits and vegetables as is. Instead I blend all his veggies into juice just so he can get them down- yup he’s\u00a0that<\/em> kid who drinks kale-spinach juice. He loves frozen broccoli bites, chicken nuggets, applesauce and fishies. He’s obsessed with Cheerios and cookies. I’ve also learned he loves french fries and ice cream as well as really every carb. I’m pretty sure he’d be happy living on bread and cheerios if I let him.<\/p>\n He still LOVES cars and trucks. You can usually find him roaming the house, with a car in-hand running it along the ground. He’s also a big fan of books and reading. His favorite right now is ‘Goodnight Digger’ followed by it’s friends ‘Goodnight Tractor’ and ‘Goodnight Pirate.’ However, Andrew’s latest love is Mickey Mouse. He locks in- and by that I mean doesn’t blink- anytime Mickey is on. I’ve had to limit his ‘screen time’ otherwise he’d just sit there and watch TV and eat Cheerios ALL DAY LONG. Andrew also loves being outside, particularly the swings and pushing his lawnmower around the driveway. Finally, he’s still obsessed with the Roomba or as he says ‘Oomba.’ Each morning he pushes directly past\u00a0Andy and I to play with the Roomba.\u00a0It’s basically Andrew’s version of a pet…which is totally fine since you don’t need to feed it or take it out!<\/p>\n The biggest change in the little guy is his speech and communication! He consistently uses sign language to express ‘more’ and ‘done’ when eating. He says mama, dada, Roomba (oomba), car, bus (buh), ‘oh wow’, ugh oh, juice (ju), bath (ba), bubble, Abby, and more. He can tell you that a cow goes ‘moo’, monkey goes ‘he he’ and jaguar goes roar! It’s awesome to see how much he’s learning and understanding. My favorite though is when he blows kisses, ‘muh!’<\/p>\n You can see by my lengthy post that there is just so much for us to say and share about Andrew!
