But on Saturday, after 7 weeks (!), my mom was finally ready and able to travel after a nasty broken foot. We drove them to Newark and they flew to Fort Meyers to start their new adventure as Florida residents.<\/p>\n<p>While I don&#8217;t think anyone would have wished for the circumstances that brought us together, it was sad to see them go. We enjoyed having them join our little family for a bit&nbsp;and certainly appreciated the extra hands and babysitting. Andrew is especially disappointed- now it&#8217;s just him and mom in the mornings together.
