Yes, that is a remote in case you were wondering.

  • Tubes Part 2

    Tubes Part 2

Andrew has battled chronic ear infections forever even after having tubes put in when he was 9 months. In an effort to get him healthy and stop the latest string of illness, we opted the have ear tubes put in again and have his adenoids out (pre-baby!). Despite a little drama before due to a fever, I am happy report we have surgery success!

Coming home sick from School pre-surgery. Pre-opPost-op on the way home.

    Pants are overrated

Doesn’t everyone take off their pants when they get home from work/school and play with their trains?

  • Big Brother Suggestions

    Big Brother Suggestions

Me: ‘Andrew, what should we name the baby?’

    Andrew: (thinks) ‘Bob.’

Me: ‘Ok. What if it’s a girl?’

    Andrew: (thinks some more) ‘Bob.’

Note: this is not an isolated event. He always says we should name Baby Boy Phillips or Baby Girl Phillips, ‘Bob’.

  • At attention…

    At attention…

Andrew watches tv standing with his hands behind his back…always. Do we secretly send him to some sort of military school daycare?!

  • Can we build it? Yes we can!

Can we build it? Yes we can!

Andrew is mildly obsessed with Bob the Builder these days. He was particularly excited to use his tools to ‘build it’ and help Daddy adjust the crib for his new baby brother or sister!

  • Welcome 2017!

    Welcome 2017!

Grandma and grandpa James came to New Jersey to help us say goodbye to 2016 and ring in the new year (and provide some VERY helpful babysitting!).

They watched Andrew while mommy and daddy had a little getaway to Philadelphia before baby #2. Andrew and his grandparents also rang in the new year together so we could hit the town… as much as a pregnant lady can party! They went to the movies to see Sing! at our local theater while we went to Morristown with friends for some celebration. Everyone enjoyed themesleves…. arguably daddy even had too much fun! ?

    Ready for 2017!

Movie time with grandma and grandpa! Out and about! Impressed that two pregnant ladies made it to 12:30 before heading home!

Happy 2017! Best wishes for health, prosperity and Happiness in the new year. It goes without saying that we’re most excited to complete our family and welcome our baby girl or baby boy this year! ❤

  • Boxing Day!

    Boxing Day!

Our local library had a new twist on Boxing Day; a room filled with boxes that the kids could stack, build and knock over till their hearts content. Genius! A wonderful activity during a week home from school!

  • Feliz Navidad!

    Feliz Navidad!

Our house was turned into a make shift toy factory on Christmas morning! Andrew was blessed with a Bob the Builder work bench, train table and Thomas the Train roller coaster to just name a few gifts. The adults didn’t do so bad themselves!

After a nap we hosted Christmas dinner with our dear friends the Jolly’s and the others Phillips’s of Far Hills. So nice to have a big table filled with great friends and family! A true Christmas blessing! And a little silliness with Aunt Kiki!
