    4 Months!

Andrew William is 4 months (and 2 days)! It’s amazing how so much love and happiness can be packed into a little person. Our little man is 15 lbs and 7 oz which puts him in the 65th percentile for weight. He is 26 3/4 inches tall and therefore toppling almost everyone in the 97th percentile. At his 4-month check-up the doctor was impressed by his growth, development and social skills. (Note to the doctor: My kid is advanced. I know this.) Andrew is sleeping through the night from 8pm until 4 am on most nights. After which he wakes up, eats and goes right back down until 6:30 or 7am. This is just enough sleep to keep mommy and daddy functioning like relatively normal people at work. Andrew wears 6 month sized clothes and his hair is starting to fill in. No more awkward baby patterned baldness.

Some highlights from the last month: Andrew logged 5,000 flight miles on his first plane ride and adventure to California. He’s rolled from his back to his tummy a few times and is rallying back from his first ear infection. He continues to love his play mat, swing and almost any adult making odd (fart-like) noises with their mouth. Andrew can grab and hold his rattle and toys (or beer cans on St. Patrick’s Day). He may actually even possess baby ninja reflexes. Andrew has an amazing ability to grab and pull my hair the instant it’s within reach. He talks up a storm, likes playing peek-a-boo and most assuredly has wrapped his parents around his little fingers.

    Happy St. Patrick’s Day

Andrew joined the ranks of many Irish men on St. Patrick’s Day: drinking a Guiness without pants on.

Yes, I’m aware St. Patrick’s Day was yesterday. I was stuck on an airplane and didn’t get a chance to dress him up. Plus he’s too little to say no.

Baby’s first ear infection. Poor little guy. Someone’s not feeling his happy giggly self.

    Hallelujah

Little man has been asleep for 12 hours and we went out last night. Joyous conincidence.

  • The thumb

    The thumb

Andrew has stated to reject his wub (or better known to everyone else as a pacifier) in preference for his thumb. Awesome. Do we give our money to the orthodontist now or wait a few more years?

    WARNING: Very cute baby photos

I know I’m biased but this little guy is super cute. Aunt Kelly worked her magic this past weekend and took some awesome photos of Andrew. I’ve posted all of them because I just can’t seem to pick a favorite. Thanks Kelly! IMG_2994 copy IMG_2939 copy IMG_3012 copy IMG_3012 copy 2 IMG_2936 copy IMG_2935 copy IMG_3383 copy IMG_3324 copy IMG_3322 copy IMG_3321 copy IMG_3317 copy IMG_3266 copy IMG_3258 copy IMG_3257 copy IMG_3247 copy IMG_3243 copy IMG_3199 copy IMG_3181 copy IMG_2988 copy IMG_2937 copy IMG_2896 copy

A preview from the photo shoot with Aunt Kelly this morning. Little guy is victim to all of mommy’s Pinterest ideas when Daddy’s not around.

    Happy birthday Daddy!

Happy birthday to the best daddy and husband out there! You make our days brighter, our smiles bigger and our technology more complicated. We love you to the moon and back and can’t wait to see what 32 will bring for our little family!
