A Good 1st Impression
Today is Andrew’s first day at his new school! Recently I’ve labored over where to send Andrew while Andy and I are at work. While we have always had a really positive experience at his daycare, I’ve recently been less than enthusiastic about his situation. I’ll spare you the details but we decided to change schools. And today was Andrew’s first day The Palmer School right in Bernardsville. It’s a small school but one that seams to be bursting at the seams with love and excitement. I’m optimistic this will be a great move for all of us!
Andrew was looking spiffy to meet his new teachers and classmates. And the verdict: so far, so good! He blended right in immediately, though not hard when you start off with snack-time and toys. Here’s hoping he likes it tomorrow too!

Grandparents all around!
Last weekend Andy and I traveled out to Rocky Gap State Park in Maryland to join in the surprise celebrate for Paul’s 60th. A rare yet fun filled treat to be able to hang out and play without the kiddos around. Happy 60th birthday to Paul and cheers to many many more!
Meanwhile, Andrew spent the weekend at house with his other grandparents. I’m sure he had no fun and got no love and attention. ?

11 Months!
We’re in the final count down to one year! Minutes ago he was a bitty baby and we were taking him home from the hospital. 11 months already!?!
Our little man continues to fill our days with immense love and joy. He’s developed this cheeky little grin that just melts your heart. He still has only 7 teeth but is doing so well feeding himself. He seems to love most foods; in fact he had spinach quiche for breakfast and vegetable dumplings for dinner. Quite the pallet for a little guy. However, we took him out for Indian food and can confirm he does NOT like anything close to ‘spicy’ food. His cries and desperate need for water can attest to that. And for dessert, he seems to love cookies, ice cream and all things sweet. Aunt Kelly would be proud.
Andrew is getting closer to walking but no steps yet. He stands on his on for a few seconds and is getting so much better at walking while holding your hands or pushing something. He’s taken a liking to the playground and slide but still LOVES, LOVES, LOVES wheels. Red solo cups and old boxes are close seconds. But one of his favorite things is when his daddy comes home at the end of the day. The little guy lights up and can’t crawl to the door fast enough. #Love.
Happy 11 months little man! We love you!
