Andy was away for the weekend celebrating Nathan at his bachelor party in Montreal (tough life!). I used this as an excuse to take Friday off and take Andrew down to LBI for the weekend (tougher life!).
Despite the extreme heat this weekend, we spent our days playing in the bay, going for long walks in the morning, feeding the ducks, visiting with friends and playing in the hot tub and ‘swimming’ in the kiddie pool.
More words with each passing day but this is a pretty special one!

As a fun change of pace, Courtney and I took the boys to a local Alpaca Farm in Peapack, NJ. On Thursday mornings they host ‘Toddler Hour’ that allows little folks to come, visit with Alpacas, read a story and do a craft. Perfect! …Except Andrew was ‘in a mood.’ It may have been all of the excitement from the new experience and funny looking animals but he could barely keep it together at times; including a full meltdown in the middle of the field. Ugh. While it may not have been the perfect mother-son outing, it certainly was memorable. A for effort!

Who’s got the keys to my jeep?!
After 3 days of 103+ degree fevers, Andrew is finally starting to cool off…. Literally. While his temperatures may be normalizing he’s been really agitated and inconsolable at times. In a desperate attempt to make him happy we let him play in the jeep for a few minutes. He loved it. Only 16 more years till he gets the keys!
