I’ll use any excuse to dress this little ham up!
Egg hunt at church!
Time flies when you’re having fun. Easter 2015. A lot of changes in 12 months.

We visited the Castellanos’ on Long Island and Andrew may have had the best day of his entire life. He was instantly enthralled by their boys, Jackson (6) and Miles (3). Andrew thought Miles was the funniest person on the planet and pretty much belly laughed the entire day. Here is a snap shot of them watching cartoons together. I wish I could have bottled up his happiness and saved it forever.

Life has been quite busy the last few weeks with work, work travel and just the semi-chaotic state that is life of with a toddler creeping into the ‘terrible twos.’ We also received some unexpected visitors in February when my mom fell and broke her foot. She took a nasty tumble down some stairs that resulted in emergency surgery and a number of plates and screws to put her back together. I call it the ‘Home Depot’ treatment since there is so much hardware in there. Regardless, she’s been seeking refuge from her stair-filled home in LBI while she recovers. Andrew has been loving the extra attention from Grandma and Grandpa- especially when Grandma reads him countless (!) books over and over and over again. ‘Good Nighter Digger’ and ‘Good Night Tractor’ are his current favorites.
Ok….well not all work trips are so terrible. Mommy escaped to a conference in Florida earlier this week and accidentally got lost by the pool. And somehow a margarita fell into my hand. It was the craziest thing!

This past weekend Andy and I went to Naples, Florida for a weekend away with our friends Nathan and Andrea. We were having too much baby-free fun to take any pictures of the beach, tennis, good weather or great food. Oh well, but I suppose that’s the sign of a great weekend. Thanks to the Cenkos for hosting us and can’t wait to go back in October for the wedding!
Meanwhile, Andrew spent the weekend with Grandma and Grandpa James in Maryland. By the looks of it he was smothered in love and attention- no surprise there. Here are a few pictures from their walks, trip to the mall and time together!

It took 12 years of friendship and 5 years of being together before Andy and I finally went skiing! Skiing was something we both really enjoyed in a past life- it just took us that long to get our act together. I blame jobs, babies, houses, etc. So we broke the streak and headed to Windham Mountain in the Catskills for a weekend away. It was awesome to spend a little time just us and dust off the old ski boots. I must say, I think we did pretty well. No falls and some decent form coming down the hill. A respectful showing most definitely.
Here’s hoping it doesn’t take us another 12 years till we do it again! Oh and coming home to the little man is pretty awesome too!

We rang in the new year Cabo style with the Hogans! A wonderful new years at Jockey Hollow in Morristown complete with a babysitter and designated driver. Thank you John and Diane! Cheers and best wishes to all for a happy, healthy and prosperous 2016!

A flurry of wrapping paper, presents and giggles of excitement!
By the way, it’s a pure conincidence Andrew looks like elf on the shelf!

After breakfast with my parents and sister, we hopped in the car and headed to Maryland. Andrew has about a 2 hour limit in the car. This is hour 3:
Morning snuggles and books with grandma:
We headed to church for Christmas Eve service. The kids did ok. By the communion all of the kids had had enough and were running around the nursery like crazy people. But they looked cute; matching bow ties and suspenders!
Waiting for Santa. Not sure if he’s on the naughty or nice list.
