    Morning squawk box

Andrew’s chattering has really increased in the last few weeks. It sounds a bit like a high pitched pterodactyl but cute nonetheless. You can’t keep this kid quiet if you tried. But who’s particularly surprised by that? Andy and I have been known to talk a little here and there.

  • Hola!

    Hola!

Baby’s first Mexican. Mommy’s first margarita since before baby. And all is right with the world once again.

    Weekend visitors!

Grandma and grandpa James came to visit this weekend. The snow and cold weather didn’t stop us from having fun. Thanks for a great visit!

    Lady Killer

Watch out girls! Andrew is on the prowl and looking for a Valentine!

You'll notice Andrew is chucking me the finger. Probably because I dress him up like a doll too often.

Ok…so the fedora may be a bit too much but I had to try.

  • We’re on the other side

    We’re on the other side

Andy and I survived a case of the 24-hr, wish-you-were-dead-flu. Sunday night turned ugly for the two of us. Meanwhile baby Andrew decided that he would break from sleeping 6-7 hr stretches and instead wake-up every 45 minutes for the whole night.  I’ll spare you the gory details but it was not pretty for all parties involved. Poor Andrew had two zombie parents and it took all of our energy to get him to daycare on Monday. He seemed fine so we thought it best to get him out of the house so we could rest. Yes, we were those parents half dressed in their pajamas dropping their kid off at daycare.

Andy and I are back to normal and back to work. The irony of the whole experience- this was the first year either of us have ever gotten a flu shot in our lives and behold, we get the flu. In fact, we lived on an island with 8 million people and traveled on airplanes across the world all the time. No flu. We send our kid to daycare for 5 days…flu.

Here’s Andrew looking a little taken back at the state of his parents. But the little guy is holding my hand. Perhaps because he’s scared or perhaps to just make us feel better.

When you’re 3 months old life must be so exciting. Everything is new- even your own hands. Take a look at just one minute in Andrew’s exciting life.
