Andrew has a growing repertoire of songs he know and likes to sing. Some of his favorites are Wheels on the Bus, Twinkle Twinkle, ABCs, Bringing Home a Baby Bumble Bee and Jingle Bells. He can actually get through the entire song, albeit skipping over parts at times, but he knows the tunes. While he seems to love to sing- usually all the way home from school- this was his reaction the moment I started to film and capture his cute voice. I guess he’s not ready for his internet debut!

Christmas Pagaent 2016
Andrew participated in The Palmer School’s annual Christmas pageant last week. Nothing fancy but still a cute little family event his school hosts each year where every class gets up and sings a few holiday songs. Andrew’s Toddler 1 class got up on stage and sang Twinkle Twinkle and Jingle Bells. I managed to snag zero pictures of the 60 second main event because Andrew had spotted me, refused to sit with his class and demanded he sit on my lap. Ergo, I too sat on stage and sang Twinkle Twinkle and Jingle Bells in front of all the other parents. Lesson learned: get a better hiding spot in the audience.
No action pics but here he is singing his songs for Mom and Dad at home!

Happy!
Reason 1: Daddy is coming home from ‘cago’ (aka Chicago) tonight
Reason 2: Santa is visiting Andrew’s school this morning
Now which one is he most excited for….?

Fire Trucks!
Andrew got a private tour of the local fire trucks when we dropped off gifts for the upcoming fundraiser. His eyes were huge and in disbelief as a wonderfully generous local volunteer showed us all the fire trucks and ambulances they kept at the station. One excited little boy! Pretty sure Daddy was just as fascinated…

Turkey Day in Maryland
Slightly delayed but oh well…. This year was PB&J (Phillips, Barba & James) family Thanksgiving in Maryland. Great time with 3- soon to be 5!- little kiddos at Grandma and Grandpas. We visited the nature center, stuffed ourselves with delicious food and hit up the local bounce factory for some Black Friday fun. We even managed to sneak in a family photo shoot that came out surprisingly well considering we needed to wrangle 6 adults, 3 active kiddos, 2 pregnant ladies and a partridge in a pear tree!
Making lots of noise and fun at the nature center’s music garden!

Cousin love! Andrew had a BLAST with his cousins. He finds Charlotte hysterical and just wants to play with her constantly. He and Everett also seemed to really like playing together. Though they are both learning how to share, take turns and play nice together. ‘No pushing’ was a common phrase heard around the house that weekend; even the boys said it to each other!

Belated 2nd birthday celebration for A!
Charlotte is the coolest.
Bounce house fun!

Keeping the boys happy, clean and occupied before family photos with some Bob the Builder!
Sometimes it’s crazy to think about how different this family will look in just a a few months! -

Mr. Clean
I swear this wasn’t forced…. He comes running when the vacuum turns on and asks for ‘more clean’ when I try to turn it off.
Any bets on how long this lasts? Something tells me his teenage years are highly unlikely!
